What are recruitment fees?

Any fees or costs that are incurred in the recruitment process in order for a worker to secure employment. These could include, but not limited to: DBS check costs, training, uniform, PPE and other third party fees.

Banning the charging of recruitment fees to workers is the key way Go Ahead Recruitment can ensure slavery-free supply chains.

Fee Impact

Large recruitment fees can leave workers in situations of debt or bonding. This can lead to workers being trapped in employment and deductions being unlawful by taking hourly rates below NMW.

Ethical Recruitment

Go Ahead Recruitment are committed to practicing ethical recruitment and never charge any recruitment fees.
