Go Ahead Recruitment Limited – No Forced Labour Policy

Go Ahead Recruitment Limited states that under no circumstances will make use of forced or bonded labour. All employees will have right to enter into employment voluntarily and freely. This policy is based on International Labour Organisation (ILO) and national laws.

Go Ahead recruitment forbids the use of coercion, violence and any other intimidating practises. We will neve confiscate or keep original personal documents.

Employees have the right to terminate employment by means of notice as per contract of employment at anytime without penalties.

Go Ahead Recruitment recognises responsibility that it shares with collective suppliers, contractors and vendors. We do not tolerate the use of unlawful labour in any forms.

Forced Labour is defined as and not limited to; child labour, human trafficking, involuntary prison labour, threat of disciplinary measures, compulsory overtime or documentation retention.

Labour is to be freely chosen and employees free to leave in accordance to contract.

The Director is responsible for ensuring compliance against policy and will undertake regular audits to ensure compliance throughout the whole supply chain. The Director is contactable personally for any complaints and shall investigate with involvement from third parties if required.

All employment contracts are provided in writing in plain English that can be easily understood. Contracts clearly state employers’ rights & responsibilities in regards to; wages, working hours, valid terms of termination, and other issues related to preventing forced labour.

Remediation & Punishment

Violations to the No Forced Labour policy may lead to disciplinary action up to and including, termination of employment/partnership. Disciplinaries will be carried out in accordance with laws and legislation. Go Ahead Recruitment will take immediate action and place preventative measure in place to prevent and eliminate and form of forced labour. We pledge to resolve the matter as soon as possible and provide remediation to parties’ victims of negligence or mistake.
